Our Organization's History

Founded in 2022, A Pawsitive Start Pet Rescue is a registered non-profit organization run by and for its members. Based in Booneville, Arkansas, we represent the rights of animals everywhere. Our team and volunteers work tirelessly to save lives and promote animal welfare.

Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless, abused and abandoned animals and improve their quality of life while providing quality care and love to all animals in our care, to educate the public in proper animal care while emphasizing spaying and neutering.  We believe that each and every life is precious, deserving to be treated humanely with a chance to live happily and cruelty-free.
